The work from home directive for federal civil servants from GL 12 and below until the end of March has been extended by the federal government.
The Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan issued the new directive.
Esan in a statement released by Mr Abdulganiyu Aminu, Director Press and Public Relations, office of the HOCSF said the directive was given in adherence to the advice of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19.
The Head of Service who also emphasised the need for all public servants to continue to ensure strict compliance with the existing guidelines on the prevention and spread of the pandemic.
Esan urged all Permanent Secretaries and Chief Executive officers to bring the content of the circular to all concerned and ensure strict compliance.
In other news, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Olorunnimbe Mamora, the Minister of State for Health has disclosed that the COVID19 vaccination will not be mandatory in Nigeria.
This disclosure was made by Mamora during an interview with Arise TV when asked if the vaccines will be mandatory in Nigeria.
