PHOTOS: Security Operatives Kill 4 Suspected Pirates In Uyo, Recover Firearms, Speed Boat, Others

Report reaching us has it that security operatives with MOPOL 29 AWKA have naturized some gunmen suspected to be pirates/ kidnappers terrorizing the area.

According to the report obtained by WITHIN NIGERIA, the team of Mobile Police were on patrol on Thursday, March 4, at Ibeno River side along Iwekpom village area when they saw the miscreants and exchange of fire began in the process one of the MOPOL operative sustained a minor injury, however, four of the gunmen was killed while three fled away.

The items recovered from the gunmen were as follow (1) AK 47 Rifle No. 1985 PK 1671 with one Magazine (2) AK 47 Rifle No. 567. 402405 with one Magazine (3) AK 49 Rifle No. 49028703 with one Magazine (4) G3 Rifle No. 648408 (5) G3 Rifle No. 81 — 01218 (6) SMG Rifle No. 53067 with one Magazine (7) K2 Rifle No. 4389 with two Magazine follow by one Speed Boat with double Two Hundred Yamaha Engine One Itel Smart phone, Twenty empty 60 Ltrs of Jerricans, One UN Couple 115 Yamaha Engine with two Propeller, one Bag contain Engine part, Eight White Caftan, two slides Hamma.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that all items recovered were physically checked and handed over to the Divisional Police Officer Ibeno Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.
