The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Dr Samson Ayokunle, has described the inability of the Federal Government to complete the 200-kilometre Abuja-Lokoja highway for 15 years as a national shame.
Ayokunle stated this in Lokoja on Monday at the official inauguration of the Government House Chapel for Christian worshippers built by the Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration in Kogi State.
He said even after 15 years of constructing the road, there is still no date for completion.
He urged the Federal Government to do something about the 200-kilometre Abuja-Lokoja highway to remove the shame from the nation.
“Lokoja-Abuja highway is a shame of the country. Do something and remove this shame; 15 years constructing a 200kms road is a shame,” he said.
