As the battle against COVID-19 continues, Nigeria has recorded 394 new cases of the deadly virus in 17 states and the federal capital territory, Abuja.
This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Wednesday, March 10.
According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, Bauchi state recorded 75 new cases while FCT recorded 32 new cases.
Other states with fresh cases include Lagos-36, Akwa Ibom-33, Nasarawa-29, Kaduna-26, Rivers-25, Ogun-22, Oyo-21, Edo-20, Taraba-18, Imo-17, Ondo-17, Borno-8, Plateau-7, Zamfara-4, Osun-3 and Kano-1.
Nigeria now has 159,646 confirmed cases. 139,983 patients have been successfully treated and discharged while 1,993 deaths have been recorded so far.
In a related news, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Ngeria has recorded 346 new cases of deadly virus in 17 states and the federal capital territory, Abuja.
This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Tuesday March 9.
According to the health agency, Lagos state recorded the highest number of positive cases of the deadly virus which is 86.
