Fatuhu Muhammed, member of the House of Representatives, has allegedly threatened to deal with a resident of Katsina state, Rabiu Omar Galadima for criticising him on Facebook.
Muhammed, a nephew of President Muhammadu Buhari recently shown off a new house he built in Abuja, sharing a stunning angular view of the massive house in a Facebook post, asking friends to join him in prayer for attaining the feat.
“Alhamdulillah I’ve completed building my house in Gwarinpa (Abuja) which took me about four years but once again Alhamdulillah and I need your prayers.
“The date for moving in will be notified soon InshaAllah,” he had posted.
It was gathered that while sharing the lawmaker’s post on Facebook, Rabiu wrote, “A good leader who builds himself than his people and their community, congratulations in abundance. The Giant.”
According to SaharaReporters, Muhammad, who represents Daura/Maiadua/Sandamu Federal Constituency on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress got infuriated with the comment and threatened to deal with the man.
“My life is under threat, they claimed they will kill me. The lawmaker and his thugs have been calling me, I’m not afraid of death, I just want the whole world to know who killed me after I am gone,” Rabiu told SaharaReporters.
Recall that in September 2020, Muhammed also threatened to attack a Facebook user, Abdulbasi Maiadua, for criticizing him.
“I want you to record this call. I am warning you not to try me again because I am not your mate, neither your boss. If you do not get out of my way, I will arrange for your beating. You can report to whomsoever you wish in Katsina or even Nigeria.
“At it seems you are an ignorant person who doesn’t know anything, who doesn’t know about development. It is either you are not patriotic or educated. You should get out of my way or else I will arrange for your beating,” the lawmaker was heard attacking Mai’adua in an audio conversation.
