Abubakar Lado, a Nigerian lawmaker, has caused stir on social media after photos of him disbursing N50 million to party loyalists surfaced online.

Hon Lado representing Suleja/Tara/Gurara Federal constituency, Niger State in the photos could be seen disbursing cash to youth in his state as a way of giving back to his constituents.

WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that Lado’s N50m empowerment is broken down into N1m, N500k, N300k and N200k and was ‘gifted’ to only party loyalists.

What they mean by exposed, why only loyalist party members?
What happens to remaining constituents that voted him to a legislative body?
It should be never be tagged as a gift or donation, its it's their constitutional right.

In other report, Umar Muda Lawal, a House of Representatives member, has announced plans to construct ’10 deep wells’ for villagers within his constituency.

The lawmaker representing Toro Federal Constituency of Bauchi state in the green chamber, made the announcement via his Twitter account.

Lawal noted that he embarked on the project based on the popular demand of his people.

He shared photos of the ongoing well project and wrote;

“This time we are going outside the box to construct 10 Deep wells in 10 rural towns and villages of Toro LGA. Because traditional wells are often more reliable and last longer than any modern small-scale water supply system.
