A former lawmaker from Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to place a phone call and reconcile with Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu State.
Shehu Sani described father Mbaka as a patriot who deserves respect from the Presidency.
The former lawmaker said even Chinese, Arabs, Jews and Europeans are given same contracts the cleric is being accused of demanding for.
He warned the government against pushing individuals like Mbaka, who believes in the unity of the country to the hands of secessionists.
The Human Rights Activist stated this on Sunday via his verified Twitter handle.
His tweet reads “Father Mbaka is a patriot and deserves respect. The President should place a phone call and reconcile with him.
“People who believe in the unity of this country should not be disgracefully pushed to the hands of separatists. Even Chinese, Arabs, Jews and Europeans are given contracts.”

WITHIN NIGERIA recall that the Presidency on Friday opened up on why Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, turned against President Muhammadu Buhari after supporting him in 2015 and 2019.
Mbaka, it alleged, wanted contracts for supporting Buhari but was rebuffed.
The Presidency said rejection of Mbaka’s contract request was why the Enugu-based cleric called for resignation of Buhari or his impeachment by the National Assembly.
This accusation came days after Mbaka called on the National Assembly to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari if he fails to resign over increased insecurity in the country.
