The 29 students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka, Kaduna state, who regained their freedom on Wednesday, May 5, have reunited with their family members and colleagues,
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that the freed students were kidnapped on the March 11th and were released 56 days after being in captivity.
Their family members and friends couldn’t contain their joy as they reunited with the released students today, Friday May 7th.
Kaduna Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan while confirming their release said “Yes we can confirm that the students have been released as you can see but details will be made available on their release tomorrow. They will be taken for proper medical check up now.”
