The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended its five- day warning strike in Kaduna State.
Its President Ayuba Wabba said the decision was to honour invitation of the Federal Government on Thursday to mediate in the dispute between labour and the Kaduna State Government.
The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige had earlier invited the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai and the leadership of the NLC led by Comrade Ayuba Wabba for a meeting on Thursday.
A statement by the Deputy Director of Press and Public Relations, Charles Akpan stated the meeting will hold at the Minister’s office.
