Umar said the suspect was arrested while trying to board an Ethiopian flight to Turkey.
The suspect, Saleh and the items were handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Kano Zonal Office for questioning and possible prosecution.
“He (the suspect) was intercepted with 54 units of Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and international passport,” Umar said.
EFCC Kano Zonal head, Mualledi Farouq Dogondaji assured of proper investigation, adding that the Commission will communicate the outcome of the investigation and possible prosecution to the Customs Service.
