Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the news of social media giant, Twitter deleting President Muhammadu Buhari’s controversial tweet.
Kanu thanked Twitter for deleting Buhari’s inciting tweet off the platform.
The IPOB leader, who described the tweet as hate-filled, reminded President Buhari that this is 2021 and not 1967.
WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that Twitter had deleted the President’s tweet, stating that “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules”.
Kanu wrote: “Thank you, @Twitter for DELETING the hate-filled tweet by the account fronting as @MBuhari. What you did proves that the rulers of Nigeria who feel they’re not accountable to #Biafrans for their crimes will ultimately account to the international community. #ThisIsNot1967.”
