Yoruba nation activists have stormed the popular Fajuyi Park in Ado Ekiti for a rally organised by socio-political group, Ilana Omo Oodua.
It was learnt that the peaceful protesters converged as early as 6:30am at the venue for the protest.
There is heavy presence of security operatives including police, Department of State Services and Amotekun Corps at the venue.
At the moment, commercial and other activities in the state capital have been grounded.
Security operative, who preferred anonymity, said they are at the venue “to prevent the breakdown of law and order and ensure miscreants do not hijack the rally”.
The agitators also expressed their readiness for Yoruba nation out of Nigeria.
