Cristiano Ronaldo, top Juventus star and Portugal captain, has paid tribute to Denmark midfielder, Christian Eriksen, after the Inter Milan star collapsed during his country’s Euro 2020 opener against Finland on Saturday.
Ronaldo urged Eriksen to stay strong, adding that he wants to see him back on the pitch.
The Juventus forward disclosed this in a post via his Instagram account at the weekend.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Eriksen had earlier fallen to the floor during Denmark’s opener against Finland.
The former Tottenham playmaker was resuscitated on the pitch, with players and fans watching on in distressing scenes.
