Manchester United have confirmed return dates for Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial and Donny Van de Beek.
According to Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Pogba and Fernandes are not due to return to Man United for another week, while Martial and Van de Beek are expected to start training in a week’s time.
“They [Martial and Van de Beek] are not ready yet,” Solskjaer was quoted by MEN.
“They will probably be 100 per cent training with us a week on Monday. They are still working hard to step into the group.
“Fernandes and Pogba? It won’t be next week, no. The week after.”
Man United won their first pre-season match 2-1 against Derby County on Sunday, but the Red Devils were without several senior players due to the recently concluded Euro 2020.
Pogba and Fernandes represented their respective countries [France and Portugal] at Euro 2020 and were eliminated at the round of 16 stages three weeks ago.
Pogba is on holiday in Florida, while Fernandes has stayed in Portugal for his summer vacation.
Meanwhile, Martial and Van de Beek missed the first two weeks of pre-season training.
Martial picked up a knee injury on international duty with France on March 28 and has not played since, while Van de Beek had to withdraw from the Netherlands’ Euros squad
