Emmanuel Prince, brother to the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has called on Yoruba leaders not to allow the President Muhammadu Buhari’s led government to repatriate the Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho to Nigeria.
Emmanuel made the call in Umuahia, Abia State, while reacting to the arrest of Igboho.
WITHIN NIGERIA calls that Igboho and his wife, Ropo, were arrested at the Cardinal Bernardin International Airport, Cotonou on Monday night while trying to catch a flight to Germany.
Emmanuel, who lamented that billions were committed to arresting Kanu and Igboho, commended South-West leaders for throwing their weight behind the freedom fighter following his arrest.
“They commit billions to kidnap Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho in a gang-style manner. I commend the Yoruba nation for standing behind their son, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho. They shouldn’t allow his repatriation.
“My brother is a freedom fighter and has at no time directed anybody to bear arms, let alone kill. But some people in this country are killing and admitting that they’re the ones that killed without the government, Malami or the security agencies arresting or preferring charges against them,” he said.
