Simon Ekpa, a disciple of the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has warned Chairman of Cubana Group, Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana to distance himself from Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari following alleged fraud with notorious Internet fraudster Ramon Olorunwa Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that the United States Department of Justice had said ongoing investigations showed that Hushpuppi allegedly bribed Kyari to arrest one Kelly Chibuzo Vincent, one of his accomplices in Nigeria.

The Finland-based Biafra Republic agitator stated that Obi Cubana’s interaction with Abba Kyari would send the wrong message to people.

Recall that the ‘super cop’ Kyari was one of the guests who graced the talk of the town burial ceremony of Obi Cubana’s mother, Ezzine Iyiegbu in Oba, Idemili-South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Following reactions form social media, Kyari, who heads the Inspector-General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT), said he attended the funeral despite his busy schedule because Obi Cubana is a brother and a good friend.

Reacting to the latest development of alleged fraud involving Kyari and Hushpuppi, the IPOB disciple , in a tweet wrote: “Obi Cubana my brother, you may reconsider retracting your step and watch the people you keep as friends. Abba Kyari was seen in your mother’s burial, this development will definitely send a wrong signal about you and this criminal conspirator. – SE.”
