Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi state on Saturday called on the Federal Government to come to the aid of the state government in tackling the menace of perennial flooding in parts of the state, leading to loss of lives and property.
This call was made by the governor when he visited Ningi, the headquarters of Ningi Local Government Area of the state, for an on-the-spot assessment of the damages caused by flooding in the area on Friday.
