Manchester United could be faced with paying Paul Pogba £15million, if they sell him this summer.
Pogba would be due to receive the last year of his £290,000-a-week wages if United attempt to cash in, to prevent him from leaving as a free agent next year.
Red Devils boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has not given up hope of convincing the World Cup winner to remain at Old Trafford.
This comes amid speculation that Pogba has already rejected a £400,000-a-week contract with the Premier League club.
Paris Saint-Germain are keen on taking Pogba to France, as they eye the Champions League title that has eluded them for years.
United want £60million for a player who cost them £89million four years ago, when he returned from Juventus.
But PSG feel that with the clock now ticking on Pogba’s Old Trafford deal, they can land him for less.
And United will have to sweeten any deal by paying up his contract after triggering a 12-month extension clause last October.
