Buhari, Tinubu meet in London (PHOTOS)

All Progressives Congress chieftain, Bola Tinubu and President Muhammadu Buhari met on Thursday in London, United Kingdom.

This was disclosed in photos shared on Facebook by a presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad.

In the photos Tinubu was seen leaning on a walking stick as he posed for a shot with the President.

Tinubu’s health has been a subject of controversy of late but in a press statement on July 30, 2021, his Media Adviser, Tunde Rahman, said though the former Lagos State Governor was out of Nigeria, but dismissed reports that his principal was hospitalised as claimed by some reports.

Rahman had said, “His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is fine. He is hale and hearty. He is not in any hospital. He has no medical problem that would require hospitalisation.

Also, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, subsequently visited the APC leader and took photos with him to refute the overwhelming reports that Tinubu was sick and hospitalised.

James Faleke, a member of the House of Representatives, also visited Tinubu, on Wednesday in London.

Tinubu, who has been rumoured to nurse presidential ambition in 2023, had celebrated his 69th birthday earlier in March 2021.
