Founder and senior pastor of the Champions Royal Assembly, Pastor Joshua Iginla has lashed out at Rev. Chris Okotie over the statement he made concerning the late founder of the of Synagogue, Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua.

WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that Okotie described TB Joshua as “the wizard at Endor who assumed the title Emmanuel” days after the SCOAN founder passed on.

Okotie stated this in a Facebook post – “The wizard at Endor who assumed the title Emmanuel, has been consumed by divine indignation. And now his disciples bewail his ignominious exit.”

In a recent video, Okotie called the late prophet names again, stating that T.B Joshua took that name “because he believes he is another Jesus.”

“He believes that God sent him to our world to bring reconciliation between God and mankind, exactly the same way the Lord Jesus was sent, and that is why he took that name Joshua.”

Okotie went on to call T.B Joshua a magician and a sorcerer who parades himself as a prophet.

Weighing in on the matter, Iginla asked: “So it is now an error to bear Joshua?”

Pastor Joshua Iginla said: “…That he was sharing the same name with Christ. So, you bearing Chris, are you not sharing the same name with Christ?

He continued: “Pastor Chris Okotie is a disgrace to the body of Christ. How do you talk about the dead in this manner? How?”
