The Department of Peace and Conflict Resolution, Taraba State University, Jalingo, has lost a 200-level student who died in the hostel after complaining of headache.
Patience Thomas, reportedly died at Zenith Hostel in the early hours of Sunday, August 22, after complaining of catarrh and headache.
“She was having catarrh yesterday. Then woke up around 2am in the night and was complaining of headache. Her roommates started praying for her but then she gave up the ghost.” One Goodness Emmanuel said.
Meanwhile, the Dean of Students Affairs of the institution, Prof. Dr. Rebecca Irany, has paid a condolence to the female hostel.
