The Lagos ministry of health has approved 183 sites for the administration of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
This was contained in a statement released on Tuesday by the ministry of health in the state.
The ministry said those eligible to receive the vaccine are persons aged 18 years and above, who have not been previously vaccinated.
Interested persons are expected to pre-register for the exercise via the portal on the website of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA).
“Citizens, 18 years and above, who have not received any COVID vaccine may proceed to register or enroll for the Moderna vaccine via the NPHCDA E-Registration portal: https://nphcda.vaccination.gov.ng/,” the statement reads.
“Successful enrollees should then proceed to any of the 183 vaccination sites picked at the point of registration at the time scheduled to get the first dose of vaccine.
“Eligible persons are advised to Pre-register on the NPHCDA E-Registration portal before visiting the Vaccination sites. This is MANDATORY.
“Kindly note: ONLY pre-registered persons should visit the vaccination sites as scheduled. The decision to get vaccinated is yours to make. Moderna Vaccine is Safe, Effective and Free.”
