The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai of the All Progressive Congress (APC) lost his Polling Unit 01, Ungwan Sarki, Kaduna North Local Government to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Local Government Area elections held on Saturday.
The ruling party, APC lost to the PDP at Polling Unit 01 where El-Rufai voted.
According to the Presiding Officer of the KSIEC at the polling unit, Muhammad Sani, a total of 159 votes were cast, out which the PDP chairmanship candidate polled 86 votes to defeat the APC candidate, his closest rival, who polled 62 votes.
Sani equally declared that the PDP councillorship candidate polled 100 votes to defeat his APC rival who polled 53 votes.
