Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has insisted that the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, is responsible for the bloodshed in the Southeast.
Igbokwe made the remark in response to a comment by the Senate Minority Leader, Eyinnaya Abaribe on the killings in the Southeast.
Abaribe had said nobody knows those behind the bloodshed in the region.
Responding, Igbokwe charged the Senator to be truthful in his comments on the killings in the region.
In a Facebook post, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Drainage and Water Resources, said Abaribe knows that members of IPOB are responsible for bloodshed in the region.
“Senator Abaribe please take notice that I am from the Southeast and I am also a critical stakeholder in the region and Nigeria.
“You know it and I know it also that IPOB is responsible for the bloodshed in the Southeast.
“This is the truth and nothing but the truth. Let us for once fear God and speak the truth so as to put the enemies to shame,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, the IPOB has continued to insist that it has no hand in the violence rocking the South-East.
