Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose visited the Lagos home of All Progressives Congress (APC) leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu yesterday to congratulate him.
He praised God for allowing him to return to the nation following his medical trip overseas.
Fayose, who spoke on phone with journalists, clarified that despite his visit to the former Lagos State governor, he remained a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain.
He said: “was at Bourdillon today to wish Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu a quick recovery. Health issues know no party. Majority don’t celebrate people when they are alive, but likes to sign condolence register. That is not the best way of life.
“Politics should not be a disadvantage, but an advantage and we should have love for each other. Again I wish Asiwaju, like every Nigerian leader, sound and robust health.
“To those negative political analysts., I am for all times an unrepentant PDP leader and key stakeholder.”
