Gunmen kidnap two little girls from mother’s car in Ondo

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted two little girls from their mother’s car in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

It was gathered that the incident occurred at Leo area of Akure metropolis when the victims’ mother was driving into their compound in their ash coloured Toyota Camry, popularly known as ‘muscle’.

The victims’ mother was said to have reported the incident to the police.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the State, DSP Funmi Odunlami, who confirmed the incident disclosed that the mother of the kids reported the case at the police station shortly after the girls were kidnapped.

While stating that the anti-kidnapping section was already handling the issue, Odunlami said she was not sure if the kidnappers had contacted the family.
