Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has appointed 18 overseers of development areas in the state.
Sule, in a letter to the Speaker of House of Assembly Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi yesterday urged the House to approve the appointments, which is in line with the provision of the Nasarawa State Local Government Law 2018, Part XI (71).
Sule said in the letter: “I have the honour to inform the Speaker that I have approved the appointment of overseers of development areas in the state.”
Those appointed included Sadiq Akiri for the Azara development area, Yunusa Amwe for Akwanga West, Bello Akoza for Ekye, Haruna Mohammed for Lafia East.
Others are Mohammed Baba Abdullahi for Giza, Dauda Danladi Agbo for Dadare, Luka Ayele for Jenkwe, Yusuf Ibrahim Auta for Agidi, Moses Anvah for Akun as well as Shaibu Umar Loko for Loko development area.
The overseer of Udege development area is Salihu Adamu, Ibrahim Arafat for Karshi, Dr Rabo Dakare for Panda, Yusuf Samson for Gadabuke, Illiyasu Miryam for Umaisha; Adamu Omale Agye for Agawada and Solomon Bande Farin Ruwa.
