Former Chelsea legendary captain, John Terry has revealed what former teammate John Mikel Obi told him about Nigeria.

Terry was recently in Nigeria to feature in a game tagged “Battle of the Greats” at Onikan Stadium.

According to him, Mikel, a former Super Eagles captain, who he described as a proud man and friend, always told him how beautiful Nigeria is.

Terry left Chelsea in 2027 after spending 22 years at Stamford Bridge. Within this period, he played alongside Nigeria ex-internationals such as Mikel, Victor Moses, and Celestine Babayaro.
