Gov Fintiri appoints interim Chairman for Adamawa United FC

Adamawa State

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has approved the appointment of Musa Gaude as Chairman, Interim Management Committee of Adamawa United FC.

A statement from the Government House, Yola, said the appointment is with immediate effect.

Musa Gaude’s appointment follows the dissolution of the club’s management led by Emmanuel Zira last month.

The governor had approved the dissolution of Zira’s controversial board, saying there was a need to inject fresh blood and new techniques.

The governor also said he needed to reinvigorate and restore the lost glory of the game of soccer in Adamawa State.

A government statement signed by Governor Fintiri’s Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou said Fintiri while congratulating the new club chairman on his appointment, urged him to work towards achieving success.

“The round leather game has become a game-changer in peacebuilding,” Fintiri told the new Adamawa United FC chairman.
