Ralf Rangnick, Manchester United’s interim manager, has named Anthony Elanga as Anthony Martial’s replacement.
Manchester United midfielder Anthony Martial has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
Despite making only four starts this season, the 26-year-old has scored more goals for United than anybody else in the current roster.
According to the UK Telegraph, Elanga, 19, is expected to be rewarded with a new long-term deal after impressing Rangnick in training.
Elanga has been with the Red Devils since 2014, but he broke through last season under previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Sweden youth international scored his first goal in the Premier League just 13 minutes into his second start, netting a decisive header in the 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on the final day.
