President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf was on Saturday December 18 turbaned Talban Daura, making him the District Head of Kwasarawa.
WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk had explained that Yusuf was given the title so that he won’t be strolling around Abuja and Yola, his mother’s hometown.
The turbaning ceremony which took place in Daura, Katsina State, was attended by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President, Ahmad Lawan; Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State; Aviation Minister, Senator Hadi Sirika, his Niger Delta and Science and Technology counterparts as well as many other Senators.
Yusuf’s father-in-law, the Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero also attended the ceremony.
