Chelsea midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, is being linked with a move to AS Roma in January.
According to Marca, AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, is believed to be keen on making a move for Loftus-Cheek in the forthcoming January transfer window.
Roma are enduring a tough run of form in the Serie A and Mourinho wants to bring in reinforcements in January to bolster his ranks to mount a challenge for a top-four finish in the Italian top-flight league.
Mourinho is weighing up a move for the England international, who has been key to Thomas Tuchel’s plans at Chelsea this season.
Loftus-Cheek, however, remains a top name on the wishlist for Mourinho, with the Portuguese gaffer hoping to use former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham to convince the midfielder in making the move to Roma.
Recall that Mourinho signed Abraham from Chelsea in last summer’s transfer window.
Abraham has been impressive for Mourinho’s side so far this season, scoring over five goals for the club.
