Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has named his side’s starting XI to face Sudan in today’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, game in Cameroon.
Eguavoen decided to maintain the same starting XI that defeated Egypt 1-0 on Tuesday.
The 56-year-old former Eagles captain opted to start Simon, Chukwueze and Awoniyi in Nigeria’s attack line against Sudan.
Nigeria are in Group D alongside Sudan, Egypt and Guinea-Bissau.
Below is Nigeria’s starting XI against Sudan:
Goalkeeper: Okoye,
Defenders: Aina, Omeruo, Ekong, Zaidu,
Midfielders: Ndidi, Aribo, Iheanacho,
Attackers: Simon, Chukwueze and Awoniyi.
Substitutes: Akpeyi, Uzoho, Ebuehi, Iwobi, Nwakali, Ejuke, Umar, Onyekuru, Musa, Onyeka, Ndah and Ajayi.
The kick-off time for the game is 5 pm.
