Senator Orji Uzor Kalu the Chief Whip of the Senate and 2023 Presidential aspirant, on Tuesday night paid President Muhammadu Buhari a visit.
Kalu revealed in a post on his social media page that he left the president around 10pm.
He did not reveal the details of their meeting but said he was very satisfied with the discussion about major national issues.
“Tonight, I paid President Muhammadu Buhari a visit to discuss major national issues and I am very satisfied with our discussion. I left him at 10pm and in good health. We look forward to a better Nigeria.”
Kalu last week confirmed he would be contesting the 2023 presidential election but hinged his ambition on the clause that he would only contest if the All Progressives Congress (APC) zones its presidential ticket to the Southeast where he comes from.
