Fire outbreak was averted by private security guards at Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja on Saturday night.
According to SaharaReporters, the fire incident, which caused stir in the complex, was said to have started from Cilantro Restaurant and Bar located at the rear of the mall near waterfront at about 7:12pm.
Manager of the restaurant alerted security guards at the facility after the fire started from the kitchen when the workers were cooking.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Next Cash and Carry Supermarket also in Abuja was gutted by fire on December 26, 2021 with goods worth billions of naira destroyed.
The cause of the fire is yet to be disclosed by government agencies as at the time of filling this report.
