Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was in Ogun State on Saturday to meet with traditional rulers over his 2023 presidential ambition.

Tinubu was at the palace of the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona to discuss his ambition with him and to seek his blessing.

The former governor of Lagos also visited the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, and others.

He reportedly told the monarchs and other stakeholders to engage others, particularly those that were yet to understand the importance of zoning the presidency to the Southwest region, to enlighten and gather them behind the idea before the next election in the country.
