Professor Tunde Samuel, a former Special Adviser on Education under ex-Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu, is dead.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and member of the powerful Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) died Wednesday night.
Samuel served as Chairman, Governing Council, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED); pioneer Provost, Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED).
The retired professor of Political Economics of Education, Lagos State University (LASU), was a member of the 2014 National Conference.
Samuel also served as a member of LASU Implementation Committee and two-time member of the Provisional Government Council.
The ex-Chairman, Governing Council, Federal University Otuoke in Bayelsa, was a consultant for UNESCO and UNICEF.
Samuel was Tinubu’s policy and political strategist, respected by elites, serving and former Lagos office holders.
The deceased will be remembered for assisting Tinubu to formulate and execute the Lagos blueprint still in effect.
