COVID-19: Nigeria records 24 fresh infections in six states, FCT

Nigeria has recorded 24 new cases of the deadly disease, Coronavirus in six states and the federal capital territory (FCT).

The COVID-19 result was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update for Sunday, February 27.

According to the agency’s report,

Below is a breakdown of the new infections by states: Abia-7, Lagos-6, Edo-4, FCT-3, Kaduna-2, Osun-1 and Rivers-1.

The agency’s data showed 20 discharges were recorded on Sunday. No deaths were recorded, leaving the fatality figure at 3,142.

The country now has a total of 254,525 confirmed cases and 249,013 recoveries.
