Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, predicted a battle between Anambra State Governor-elect Charles Soludo and outgoing Governor Willie Obiano on Tuesday.

Primate Ayodele said in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, that the tension between them will be too much for them, and that Soludo will threaten to leave their party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

The prophet, on the other hand, cautioned Soludo that if he left APGA, he would not be re-elected as governor of Anambra.

He revealed that there will be internal and external challenges for him as governor of the state but he shouldn’t leave the party.

Primate Ayodele also revealed that they won’t want to avail him with the power of a party leader as the governor of the state.

Furthermore, he advised the governor-elect to perform well in his first term so he can have a smooth second term in office.

‘’The governor-elect of Anambra State, Charles Soludo will have issues with the outgoing governor, Willie Obiano. They will fight each other to the extent of the governor-elect threatening to leave their party, APGA.

‘’No matter the crisis, I want to advise Charles Soludo not to leave the party else he will be disgraced and not have a second term as governor of Anambra state.

‘’He will face challenges; internal and external but he shouldn’t leave APGA. They won’t want to give him the power as a party leader despite being the state governor but he shouldn’t leave.

‘’I also advise him to perform well in his first term to have a smooth second term in office,” Primate Ayodele said.
