COVID-19: Nigeria records 10 fresh infections in two states

Nigeria has recorded 10 new cases of deadly disease, Coronavirus in two states.

The COVID-19 result was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update for Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

According to the agency’s update for March 1, the new cases were recorded in two states — Edo (8) and Cross River (2).

The agency said 11 people were discharged after they recovered from the infection. There were no deaths from the virus, leaving the fatality toll to 3,142.

With the new confirmed cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total of 254,560 infections and 249,079 recoveries.
