U.S. Senator calls for Putin’s assassination as war in Ukraine worsens

United States Senator Lindsey Graham, has said someone should assassinate Russian President, Vladimir Putin following the invasion of Ukraine.

“The only way this ends is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out,” Graham tweeted on Thursday.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Russia military operation invaded Ukraine on Thursday February 24.

Graham asked if Russia has citizens like Brutus, one among the killers of Roman ruler Julius Ceasars, or Colonel Stauffenberg, a “German army officer best known for his failed attempt on July 20, 1944 to assassinate Adolf Hitler at the Wolf’s Lair.”

According to Senator Graham, “Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military? You would be doing your country – and the world – a great service.”
