COVID-19: Nigeria records 51 fresh infections in four states, FCT

Nigeria has recorded 51 new cases of the deadly disease named COVID in four states and the federal capital territory (FCT).

The COVID-19 result was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update for Friday, March 11, 2022.

According to the agency’s report, a breakdown of the infections is presented below: FCT-37, Lagos-9, Kano-2 Rivers-2 and Plateau-1.

Data from the agency showed nine persons were discharged after they recovered from the infection. Meanwhile, no death was recorded on Friday.

The NCDC said the two infections in Kano were logged on March 10 and 11.

Nigeria now has a total of 254,945 cases, 249,335 recoveries and 3,142 deaths in the 36 states and the FCT.
