A lady identified as wife of the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Abba Kyari, slumped at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
According to PUNCH, the woman slumped and fell on the floor on Monday while men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, were leading Kyari and others away from the court premises.
The incident was said to have happened after the presiding judge, Justice Emeka Nwite deferred ruling on applications filed by Kyari, alongside six other persons facing drug trafficking charges, that they be released on bail pending the determination of the case against them.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that NDLEA had narrated how it filmed the moment Kyari, was negotiating a drug deal for the release of 25kg of cocaine and offered $61,400 cash to NDLEA officer.
Kyari is facing eight counts of conspiracy, obstruction, and dealing in cocaine, and other related offences at the Federal High Court, Abuja.
