Hon. Alhassan Doguwa, the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, has stated that it is high time for members of the House of Representatives elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

Tinubu met with the APC caucus in the House of Representatives on Wednesday at the Green Chamber in Abuja.

Speaking, the Majority Leader stated that Tinubu has paid his dues and should be rewarded at this time in order to fulfill his ambition to become Nigeria’s next President, adding that “it’s payback time.”

Doguwa, the former Lagos State Governor, claims to have helped people become presidents, governors, and members of the national assembly.

“The time to support Tinubu is now. He has supported people to be President, to be governors, senators, reps members. He has paid his dues. We have no choice than to support him to achieve this lifelong ambition. The time to support him is now.

“We will all be alive by 2023 when President Muhammadu Buhari will hand over to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Chief Bola Tinubu, you are the only one we know and the only one we will support because you have paid your dues and you have what it takes to be president,” Doguwa said.

In his words, Tinubu said he was in the House to seek the support of the lawmakers, saying “with your support, we will get there.”
