Nigeria has recorded 87 new cases of deadly disease named COVID-19 in five states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
The COVID-19 result was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update for Monday, March 21, 2022.
According to the agency’s report, a breakdown of the new cases of the deadly disease, COVID-19 is shown below: Lagos-34, FCT-23, Rivers-21, Osun-4, Kano-3 and Kaduna-2.
The agency data showed 16 persons were discharged after they recovered the infection.
No deaths were recorded leaving the fatality toll at 3,142.
Nigeria has so far confirmed 255,190 infections with 249,476 recoveries.
