Eric Rabesandratana, a French football pundit, has pushed Paris Saint-Germain to fire manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino has had a rough season so far with the Parisians, and he suffered another blow on Sunday.
The Argentine stood by as Monaco thrashed PSG 3-0 in a Ligue 1 match in France.
Rabesandratana stated on France Bleu Paris, as cited by PSG Talk, that a new face will help PSG prepare for next season.
“I know Mauricio Pochettino well, especially the person. It’s a complicated situation. Inevitably, when we observe his work, it does not correspond to the expectations of PSG. We are waiting to know if he will continue, especially by the end of the season,” Rabesandratana said.
He added: “I think it would be interesting to change coach now because there is a little time left. What would be good is that we use this time for the preparation and adaptation of a new coach. In the integration plan and to save time, this could be positive.”
Meanwhile, Pochettino is widely tipped to join Manchester United next season and Zinedine Zidane is expected to arrive at PSG if the former Tottenham Hotspur coach leaves.
