Victor Osimhen, a Super Eagles striker, has hailed the Black Stars ahead of Nigeria’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Ghana.
While describing Ghana as a quality team, Osimhen is confident that Nigeria has the squad depth to defeat the Black Stars.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Osimhen said: “Of course, I think so and like I said before, they [Black Stars] have some quality players and we also have a fantastic team and squad depth as well that can get the job done.
“The support has been massive even from the AFCON. So we need them to keep supporting us home and away.”
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that Nigeria and Ghana will battle in a double-leg World Cup playoff.
The first leg will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday night and the second leg will be played at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Tuesday.
