Three people have been killed by bandits who attacked a mosque while worshippers were breaking their fast on Tuesday April 5 at Baba Juli village in Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State.
According to Daily Trust, the gunmen numbering about 50, killed three persons inside the mosque and also abducted many villagers who were taken to an unknown location.
A villager said; “Yesterday’s attack caught us unawares. We were breaking our fast inside the mosque when we started hearing gun shots and there was nothing we could do to counter the terrorists.”
The state police spokesperson, DSP Usman Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident said he was waiting for more details from the police Divisional office in Bali.
