Another traditional ruler in Oyo State has gone to join his ancestors.
The Onikoyi of Ikoyi-Ile, Oba Abdulyekeen Ayinla Oladipupo, died on Wednesday evening after a brief illness, The Nation reports.
Ikoyi-Ile is in the Oriire Local Government Area in the Ogbomoso geo-political zone of Oyo State.
The monarch was, until his death, the Chairman of the traditional council in the local government area.
It was learnt that the death of the monarch is coming a few months after the death of some monarchs in the state.
The Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, died on 12th December 2021.
The 41st Olubadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, died on 2nd January this year.
