Former Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr is expecting a verdict from FIFA in the coming days regarding his sack by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
Rohr had lodged a complaint to FIFA over the circumstances of his dismissal by the NFF despite meeting all the conditions in his contract.
The 68-year-old was sacked by NFF last December, with just weeks to the 2021 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Cameroon.
He was replaced by Augustine Eguavoen, who resigned a few weeks ago following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year after losing to the Black Stars of Ghana.
“I don’t want to speak about anything concerning my relationship with the Nigeria Football Federation for now.
“I am expecting to get the result of my case against them next week from FIFA,” Rohr told BBC’s Osasu Obayiuwana.
Since leaving Nigeria, Rohr is yet to secure an appointment elsewhere.
